We are looking for a Financial Analyst that is an analytical hands-on team player, with solid Accounting Operations and Budgeting experience with a great work ethic who is also a proactive problem solver to become an important addition to our Team. This position reports to the Regional Director of Financial Operations for the Western Region.  The Western Region is the largest region in STA, and is experiencing significant growth.  This position is responsible for providing financial operations support to 23 branches located in 5 western states as well as financial reporting to our Corporate Headquarters located in New Jersey. 





  • Ensure accurate and timely financial results.
  • General Ledger account reconciliation, analysis, identification of issues, investigation of fluctuations, recommendation and implementation of resolutions.
  • Assist in the integration/start up of new businesses by providing training in the areas of time keeping, AP processing and customer invoicing.
  • Provide continuous mentoring on AR management, AP and Labor best practices and be a resource to operations staff at the branches.
  • Travel is expected to be about 40-60%.
  • Develop individual branch business plans by working with branch managers and operation VP’s. Provide variance analysis.
  • Revenue recognition analysis and reconciliation.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting for Region and Corporate management.
  • Preparation and input of journal entries, ensuring proper documentation as needed.
  • Adherence to internal controls.
  • Meet all monthly and quarterly accounting close deadlines.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Prepare audit support and participate in internal and external audits.




  • Bachelor of Science, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years relevant experience in a corporate environment
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Ability to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Advanced Excel user with the ability to develop complex financial models
  • Experience with an enterprise-wide accounting system, Oracle preferred
