Overview

The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for the ADP/Vantage HRIS systems set up and maintenance, changes, testing and troubleshooting, process improvements, data integrity, systems security and year-end support, reports and analytics.

The HRIS Analyst will aid in auditing changes within the system to insure proper controls and assist in recommending and establishing new controls. Responsibilities further include management reporting and data feeds in conjunction with IT and external vendors, as well as assisting in assigned HRIS related projects, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with HR internal customers to analyze HRIS requirements and develop and implement various HRIS procedures and prepare customized reports.
  • Help in the design of custom ad hoc reports and resolve queries and ensure accuracy in same and prepare business documents and provide upgrades, if required and monitor HRIS systems and maintain integrity of all data.
  • Assist in the designing and maintenance of codes and tables, prepare reports for HR systems and applications, and analyze systems to resolve any issues and escalate more complex and large scale issues.
  • Assist in the testing and implementing of file feeds and interfaces for any add-on technology to our HRIS system, as needed.
  • Assist in the execution of internal processes and perform audits in order to ensure integrity of all systems and collaborate with functional users to develop all business processes for various human resources systems and provide support to all associated activities.
  • Assist in auditing and reviewing changes within HRIS systems to ensure proper controls and separation of duties and assist in establishing new controls, as needed.
  • Aids in coordinating system and security administrator in conjunction for multiple HRIS/Payroll related systems, as needed.
  • Works with ADP/Vantage vendor in developing and conducting a robust training program, end-user support and assistance to HRIS users.
  • Run queries/reports; analyze data, identify trends and prepare reports and presentations with rationale and conclusions.
  • Provides supports to the HR team for projects and tasks, as required.

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources; information technology, computer science or a related field; Associates degree with 5 years directly related experience.

 

Work Experience:

  • Three to five years of experience within the HRIS and project arenas to include a proven ability to improve internal processes, and upgrade current technologies.
  • Knowledge of HRIS, management reporting and payroll processes, preferably with ADP.
  • Must have demonstrated expertise HRIS, payroll and business processes with ability to take ownership of overall HRIS systems and process
  • General overall knowledge and experience within Human Resources (e.g. compensation and benefits) with demonstrated ability to apply technical solutions to solve business problems in an effective manner, preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, project management experience, time management skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to maintain confidential information and ability to work well in a team environment
